Great Experience Staying Here

What a fantastic place – 408 years old, with a warm, inviting interior. Bed was comfortable, the room spacious and Martin a fun, helpful host. The cleaning staff too were friendly and engaging. It is places like this that make you want to visit the smaller centres…

Thank You Great Little Hotel

We stayed at the Radnor after a family funeral. The Radnor put on an excellent funeral tea and nothing was too much trouble. Martin and Jane were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Really went out of their way…

Lovely Hotel in the Welsh Marches

When we arrived on Monday the 21st, Martin on reception informed us we had actually booked from Tuesday. Nevertheless he put us at ease and accommodated in another lovely bedroom. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable, so much so we overslept on the first morning. and missed breakfast…

WE DIDN"T WANT TO LEAVE

We’d travelled 1,500 miles (a three-week touring holiday) when we reached the Radnorshire Arms to a warm and hearty welcome and a beautiful upgrade-room. After that things just got better and better, so much so, that we changed our plans and stayed a second night. The hospitality team are lovely and nothing is too much…

Great Place!

Great place to stay. We had booked directly with the hotel and were ungraded to a fabulous room; very comfortable, spotlessly clean and all facilities needed. We had a nice evening meal and breakfast was delicious. Throughout all staff we spoke to were friendly, helpful and professional…

Beautiful old ramshackle hotel..

Stayed for the one night while my wife was filming nearby. A wonderful old ramshackle building that has so much character .. We stayed in a double lodge with all the facilities you need .. beds a little too hard for my liking but my wife thought otherwise. A little trouble with the door not opening properly but this was sorted within a matter of minutes.

All Staff were brilliant.. but the pinnacle of the trip was the restaurant.. absolutely wonderful food.. great vegetarian options.. Breakfast simple but none the less delicious.

Brilliant food great staff..

My family were staying for a week in a cottage near Presteigne and we decided to book into the restaurant in the Radnorshire Arms for their Sunday carvery and how glad we were that we did. The food was exceptional and fairly priced…I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. It was so good that myself and my wife went back later in the week fir an evening meal in their restaurant and again we weren’t disappointed.. We will definitely be back and best time will stay in the hotel as well. We’ll done and thank you to you all.

Pleasant staff and excellent service

We had booked the hotel for a family weekend and noticing the garden was untidy on our walk from the car park we thought that standards might be disappointing. However, the warm, friendly, helpful greeting from the Receptionist was reassuring.

Our ensuite room was spotlessly clean and it had the cleanest hotel bathroom I have seen in a very long time; a credit to the cleaning staff. We also appreciated that our room was serviced, cleaned and consumables replenished daily; something often neglected in other establishments.
